Data used by the service

• Account details supplied during sign-up or received from Google sign-in, such as name and email address.
• Profile preferences, including a target exam when a student chooses one.
• Test attempts, submitted answers, scores and timestamps needed to save results and show progress.
• Question reports and other content feedback submitted by a user.
• Technical security data needed to prevent abuse, diagnose errors and protect accounts.

Public visibility

Leaderboard participation is optional and disabled by default. A participating student chooses a public alias; private contact data is not included in the public leaderboard response. Practice and private attempts are not eligible for public ranking.

Account dashboards, saved attempts and results are user-specific and are marked for search engines not to index.

Advertising and third-party vendor cookies

Nepal Entrance partners with third-party advertising networks, including Google AdSense, to fund and maintain free access to our study materials, syllabus guides, and preparation tools.

Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve advertisements based on a user’s prior visits to Nepal Entrance or other websites across the Internet. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partner networks to serve advertisements to users based on their visits to our site and other destinations on the web.

Users may opt out of personalized advertising at any time by visiting Google Ads Settings (https://adssettings.google.com). Alternatively, users can opt out of a third-party vendor’s use of cookies for personalized advertising by visiting aboutads.info (https://www.aboutads.info/choices/) or YourAdChoices (https://youradchoices.com/).

Advertisements are strictly prohibited on sensitive or transactional screens, including login, registration, active test-taking, question attempts, and private account dashboards. Advertisements appear only on approved, substantive public educational guides and reference pages.

Analytics and external services

The application uses privacy-conscious analytics and diagnostic tooling to measure page performance, diagnose technical errors, and understand product usage. Authentication uses browser storage or cookies strictly required to maintain a secure session. Google sign-in, if chosen, is governed by Google’s privacy standards in addition to this policy.

Choices and retention

Students can change profile and leaderboard preferences from their account. Access, correction or deletion workflows are being implemented; until a verified request channel is available, the platform must not claim that an unverified message can erase account data.

Data should be kept only as long as needed for the service, security, legal obligations and reliable historical results. Backups may retain protected copies for a limited operational period.
