Full Form of CMAT in Nepal is "Central Management Admission Test".
CMAT is a mandatory process to get admission in Bachelors in Business Administration (BBA), Bachelor of Business Management (BBM), Bachelor of Hotel Management (BHM), Bachelor of Information Management (BIM), Bachelor of Travel and Tourism Management (BTTM) etc. All students must achieve at least 40 Marks out of 100 in order to get enrolled in the mentioned course. CMAT is the minimum criteria to get admission on Tribhuvan University affiliated college or campus but college/campus can have their own internal criteria in the admission procedures like college entrance exams, group discussions, interview etc.
On most of the academic year, the CMAT exam forms are available around at end of Shrawan in all college affiliated to Tribhuvan University like Shanker Dev Campus, Nepal Commerce Campus, College of Applied Business etc. The exam forms are also available on the website of Faculty of Management, TU. The exams are probably after the results of the +2 examination and before the Dashain Festival. The exam consists of multiple questions of 100 questions with 4 options each. A separate answer sheet is provided to select the answer which is checked by the MICR. The results appear within the week of the examination held.
The CMAT Examination consists questions of four – 4 Categories namely Verbal Ability, Quantitative Analysis, Logical Reasoning and General Awareness of 25 questions each. It is very important to understand the question pattern of the exam so the question pattern is given below.
